How to enable SSL (HTTPS Support) on your hosting account ?

SSL (HTTPS) support is enabled on all the cPanel hosting accounts by default. However, it will take up to 24 hours to activate your SSL ceritificate. In order to activate the SSL, your domain must be connected with your hosting account ( example, if the domain is registered on somewhere, your domain name servers must have updated) in order to SSL activation start.

Once SSL certificate installed, you can access your web site over https:// [your domain]

However, it does not take automatically your visitors to HTTPS version of the web site. Thus, you need to do HTTPS redirection using .htaccess file.

Here are the steps to configure the redirect your site traffic to HTTPS version of your domain by default.
